We believe rugby is more than just a sport, it’s a cornerstone of our community and since 1888, we’ve been united by a shared passion for the game.  At WRFU we are committed to nurturing rugby at every level.

Whanganui has a thriving rugby community with a cherished legacy. With 11 Rugby Clubs and in school rugby programs we are able to cater to all skill levels and provide a space for individuals to develop a passion for rugby.
